The Fool sounds a lot harsher than it actually is. I will explain in this blog exactly my take on the fool. This is a major arcana, and furthermore it is a vital part of everyday life. There is nothing wrong with being a fool. You are only a fool if you follow others and not your own path.

As one of 22 major arcana cards in a pack of 78 tarot cards, this card stands at number 0. In other words, it is the first card or sometimes regarded as unnumbered. I’ve heard a saying many times in tarot never be fooled by the fool.

The deeper meaning of the fool

I often see this card as being actually a lot more cheerful and jolly than other tarot cards, particularly in the major arcana section. What is wrong with being a fool? What’s wrong with being different? Moreover there’s a lot of elements with being a joker too in this card and cheering people up.

However, there are times when you really need to take notice of what’s going on around you. With the tarot cards always make sure when you are learning or reading them for a client, you take notice of the pictures not only the name of the card.

Notice how he is not taking any notice as to where he is going about to fall off a cliff. Next to him is his trustee dog. I do often think that the fool card points towards those who are close to us. Doing their best to warn us of bad decisions or choices that we may make.

In everyday life

We are all individuals. And equally no matter how we choose to live our lives some of us stand out even more with eccentricity or very unique beliefs or interests. Spiritually, we should follow our gut feeling on who and what we exactly are.

As a psychic medium, I often feel out of place with society from time to time. However, as time has gone on, I’ve really learnt to not worry about it.

What’s more taking things and life too seriously can result in issues. Not only for us but for those around us. The fool lights up the mood. Step out of yourself and enjoy life not bothering to worry about what others think about you.

Journey of the fool

He does seem to be on a journey into the unknown. I suppose that’s what life is all about a journey into the unknown. Also clutched in his hand looks to be mistletoe. In Celtic and Druid traditions this is a symbol of vitality, believed to be able to ward off evil spirits and improve fertility. https:/book/

If you receive the fool during a tarot card, Reading for yourself or for a client, this is my take on it. There is nothing wrong with being a fool. It is down to opinion and point of view. Trust in the spirit world, trust in your spirit guides and above trust in yourself.
