Life is never straightforward. Recently, I was watching an interview on YouTube by comedian Jo Brand. I’ve always loved her I’m one of the things that she said really stuck in my mind “Never have a plan in life.” And I suppose she’s not wrong as things don’t always turn out the way we would like them to.
Life will always take you down certain unexpected avenues. Without a doubt, this is all part of our soul’s journey and allowing us to grow spiritually. Despite how tough some of these avenues and obstacles may be, the most important thing is to be brave. Spirit is always working with us, no matter what happens. Sometimes, it can be difficult in believing that we are loved by the spirit world due to ongoing unforeseen and challenging circumstances. On the other hand, many famous and successful people have had very tough starts in life.
Regretting what could have been that the Two of Swords can also point towards. Saying to ourselves I should’ve done this, I should’ve done that. However, if we did something the other way would it be any better? I very much doubt that in many circumstances and it’s also the lessons that we’ve learnt from that. Instead say I should do this and I should do that and living for the future.
The Two of Swords on a spiritual level
Most importantly, when dealing with the Two of Swords, we should make decisions based on our own instincts. While we may seek guidance from psychic mediums at times, we ultimately have the choice to follow their advice or not. What the Two of Swords has done for me
Like everybody else, I have faced some very difficult decisions throughout my life. Possibly my most recent one was deciding to go professional as a psychic medium in 2022. I thought to myself, “Well, it’s a very strange job to have, and there are people who don’t believe in what I do.” But at the same time, I love this work, and I’m also very proud to do it.
After encountering the Two of Swords many times while taking out many tarot cards for myself, I decided to make that decision. Even though this is a Minor Arcana and what that means is it’s nothing serious or huge in our lives at the moment, to me, it is still a very powerful card.
Stepping out of our comfort zones adds excitement to life. This card motivates us to take that step. Consider this: she can effortlessly remove the blindfold and drop the two swords. At times, the path ahead may not be entirely clear, but this uncertainty is a crucial aspect of our soul journey. Making mistakes and learning from them is a fundamental part of our growth. As Confucius aptly stated, “If you make a mistake and do not correct it, this is called a mistake.”
