The Tower!! is it really as bad as it seems?

In this blog, I will explain everything you need to know about The Tower tarot card. This Major Arcana card often evokes fear because it signifies unexpected situations. However, is it always as bad as it seems, or is it worse than we imagine? I invite you to read this blog, as I hope to clarify both the positive and negative aspects of The Tower.
Why is it feared so much?
We all fear the unknown. And worry about what lies ahead in difficult and uncertain circumstances. This fear is why The Tower feels so unpredictable.
Just look at the card itself as a bolt of lightning strikes a tower. Knocking two people from it and sending them plummeting, quite possibly to their death. Furthermore, natural disasters occur without any necessary warning. The Tower symbolises an abrupt end to a situation without any predictable pre-warning.
On the whole, this particular tarot card appears very dark and depressing. Look at the sky and the surrounding area. Almost nothing about it seems pleasant. Throughout tarot, many cards convey a sense of despair. However, this particular one belongs to the Major Arcana, so you must take it seriously
What to do if you take out The Tower card for a client?
Importantly, since this card carries a heavy and concerning message, the main task is to examine the other cards that either come before or after The Tower. Ask the tarot cards to reveal the story that The Tower is trying to warn you about, something you may not be aware of yet.
Throughout life, we all face problems and unexpected situations. If anything, receiving this card during a tarot reading may actually serve as a blessing in disguise. Prioritise reassuring the client about what they can do in their difficult situation.
At the end of the day, the situation that they’re coming into may not be as bad as it seems. For example, if you are in an abusive or difficult relationship The Tower may be showing you that it’s coming to an end.
Do not let the client panic, as life is never straightforward, and light often emerges through darkness. Spiritually, we must encounter difficult and stressful situations throughout our lives on Earth. Again, take note of the other cards in the tarot spread, as they may lead to a positive outcome after all.
What is the difference between The Tower and Death tarot cards?
Both The Tower and Death are Major Arcana. Overall the main difference between them is that Death indicates a natural end to a situation not necessarily a life. On the other hand, The Tower is an unexpected end to a situation.
These two Major Arcana tarot cards are similar in the outcome meanings however they indicate a different cause of an end.
I’ve noticed that many of my clients much prefer getting the Death card rather than getting The Tower. Mainly because of the reason of the unexpected. What’s most important is being strong no matter what happens as things are sent to try us.
The positives of The Tower
It should be noted that you need to take the rough with the smooth in life. Difficult and unexpected situations affect all of us and it is what you make of it that counts.
Life is all about learning and above all loving. Even if the outcome is somebody passing over to the spirit world, it is something that you cannot avoid. Being ready for any kind of unexpected difficult situation is something we all need to do.
One of my favorite sayings is that there is no light without darkness. This means that through all the hardships and difficulties we face, things will eventually get better. That’s why I always encourage people not to fear The Tower tarot card.
