Ten of Cups, Everything that you need to know about this tarot card

Ten of Cups, Druid Craft Tarot

Overall, what a lovely tarot card this is. Family, friends, new life and new beginnings. Throughout this blog, I will explain everything I have learnt about the Ten of Cups and how to understand it on a deep, personal level.

Importantly, not every family gets on and not every family member gets on with each other. Understandably families are difficult things. As the saying goes you can choose your friends but not your family.

However, as you can see from the Ten of Cups there is absolutely no hatred or malice within this card. In fact, all it really shows is the start of new life and new beginnings.

Cups always connect to emotions and love. The loving support that we get from our families and close friends is unconditional. Also, it is about listening to each other and overcoming any problems that you hold deep.

Certainly having a strong sense of belonging and acceptance. Those who love you deeply will never let you down and understand you through everything.

Unfortunately, trust is what builds and maintains strong friendships. What I would also say is that if you receive the Ten of Cups for example in a friendship spread it shows the true value of your friendship and the shared joy it brings.

Trust is very difficult to gain and extremely easy to lose. Admittedly we all do and say things that we shouldn’t. Even so, we also sometimes don’t think before we react or speak.

Forgiveness also plays a massive role in friendships as well as happiness and unity. Everybody argues and everybody disagrees however this really shows forgiveness and mutual respect.

We all change for different reasons. However, in most cases, we don’t realise we do. Again what this tarot card already represents is acceptance and tolerance.

Friendships are a very different thing from family. Again you can pick your friends, however, they’re not always meant to be in your life permanently.

In most cases, friendships chop and change. You don’t necessarily stay with the same circle of friends or individual friends for the rest of your life. As hard as it can be for friends do come in and out of your life sometimes unexpectedly and sometimes even without any explanation.

If something is not meant to be, then it’s not meant to be. As people we learn from each other and sometimes somebody only has to be in your life for a very brief time. Even though you may have shared a lot of emotional harmony.

Nothing and nobody is meant to be in our lives permanently. Therefore, for something new to come into our lives or something else has to leave.

Without a doubt, celebration is what stands out more than anything for me with the Ten of Cups. Celebration comes for different reasons. Perhaps you are welcoming a new baby into your family. Or just revelling in what you’ve got.

Importantly, cups are the most sensitive cards in the deck. I have often wondered for myself, why cups represent sensitivity? I think it’s down to the fact that they are a water sign and water connects to tears.

Another thing is how genuine cups and particularly this card overall are. I would have no trouble in trusting somebody or a situation if I got the Ten of Cups in a reading.

Again, the simplicity in this card is so impressive. What I would like to say when it comes down to celebration is celebrate what you already have. Like the saying goes be grateful for what you’ve already got.

Thank you for reading
