Children in the spirit world

One of the most sensitive and emotional subjects I encounter in my work as a psychic medium involves children in the spirit world. Understandably, this is a topic that many people find difficult to discuss. Nevertheless, it is also a subject that deserves compassion, understanding, and honest conversation.

Throughout this blog, I will share my personal understanding of what happens when children pass and how they continue to exist, grow, and develop within the spirit world. Furthermore, I will explore some of the most common questions that people ask me during readings, including whether children in the spirit world grow up, why some children pass so young, and how parents and loved ones may continue to feel their presence.

Sadly, child loss is something that affects many families. Consequently, people often search for comfort, reassurance, and hope during the most difficult moments of their lives. Therefore, my intention is not to provide absolute answers. Instead, I want to offer the understanding that I have gained through years of mediumship and spiritual communication.

Above all, I sincerely hope this article brings comfort to anyone who has experienced the heartbreaking loss of a child. More importantly, I hope it helps you feel that your child remains close to you, remains deeply loved, and continues to receive care and support within the spirit world. At the same time, I hope this blog answers some of the questions that people regularly bring to me during private readings.

One of the most common questions I receive is simple yet incredibly important: do children grow up in the spirit world?

To begin with, it is important to understand that the spirit world exists beyond our normal understanding of time. In other words, the spirit world is eternal. It is the place from which we come before entering physical life, and ultimately, it is the place to which we return after our earthly experience ends.

From my experience as a medium, children do continue to grow after they pass. However, that growth does not happen in the same way that it happens here on Earth. Rather than measuring growth through physical age, the spirit world seems to encourage growth through awareness, understanding, wisdom, and spiritual development.

Because time does not exist in the same way there, children are not limited by birthdays, years, or stages of life. Instead, they continue to expand their awareness and evolve as souls.

Furthermore, this understanding often connects with the idea of the “old soul.” For example, you may have met children who appear unusually wise, thoughtful, or emotionally mature for their age. Similarly, you may have encountered adults who seem to carry a deep understanding of life that goes beyond their years.

From a spiritual perspective, many people believe that these souls have experienced numerous lifetimes. Consequently, they bring that experience with them, both into physical life and back into the spirit world.

Without question, this is one of the most difficult questions anyone can ask. Equally, it is one of the hardest questions for anyone to answer.

Naturally, people ask why a child would not have the opportunity to live a full life. They wonder why something so painful, devastating, and seemingly unfair could happen. Understandably, these questions often come from a place of deep grief and profound love.

The truth is that I do not claim to have every answer. However, through my work and experiences, I have come to believe that when a soul completes its earthly experience, it returns to the spirit world, regardless of how long or short that experience may appear from our perspective.

Every soul follows its own journey. Likewise, every soul arrives with its own lessons, experiences, and connections. Sometimes, that journey lasts many decades. At other times, it lasts only a short period.

Nevertheless, even the briefest life can create enormous meaning. A child can bring love, transformation, healing, and connection into the lives of others, even during a very short time on Earth.

Although the loss of a child can feel unbearably cruel, I believe these children continue to grow, learn, and flourish within the spirit world. Most importantly, I believe they remain surrounded by unconditional love.

Another question I frequently receive concerns miscarriage, pregnancy loss, and unborn children.

Firstly, I want to acknowledge that these experiences can be deeply painful and incredibly personal. Moreover, every individual processes these losses in their own unique way.

From my experience, even when a child never physically enters the world, their soul still exists. In fact, I believe that soul remains present, recognised, and connected within children in the spirit world.

Furthermore, I often feel that these souls continue to maintain a connection with their families. Although they may not have experienced physical life in the traditional sense, they still carry their own unique identity and spiritual presence.

Similarly, this understanding extends to situations where a pregnancy was ended. These circumstances often involve difficult decisions and complex emotions. Therefore, I always approach these conversations with compassion, sensitivity, and absolutely no judgment.

What I have consistently experienced, however, is an overwhelming sense of understanding from these souls. Rather than expressing anger or resentment, they often communicate love, acceptance, and connection.

Consequently, many people find comfort in knowing that these spiritual connections continue regardless of physical circumstances.

Very often, people ask how they can recognise when their child in spirit is nearby.

In my experience, these connections usually arrive gently rather than dramatically. In other words, spirit communication often feels subtle, natural, and deeply personal.

For example, many people experience vivid dreams in which their child appears incredibly real. Often, these dreams feel different from ordinary dreams because they carry a powerful sense of peace, presence, and certainty.

Likewise, some people suddenly feel comfort during moments of sadness. Others experience an overwhelming feeling of love that seems to arrive from nowhere.

In addition, many parents notice meaningful signs appearing repeatedly in their lives. For instance, they may see the same number sequence, hear a special song, notice a significant date, or repeatedly encounter a symbol connected to their child.

Sometimes, people notice feathers, butterflies, rainbows, favourite toys, favourite animals, or familiar names appearing at exactly the right moment.

Furthermore, many individuals describe sensing their child’s presence while looking at photographs, visiting meaningful places, or simply thinking about them.

Although it can be easy to dismiss these moments as coincidence, they often carry a strong feeling of recognition. More importantly, they frequently leave behind a sense of calm, reassurance, and peace.

Ultimately, from what I have witnessed through countless readings, these signs often serve as gentle reminders that children in spirit remain close to the people they love. They remain connected. They remain aware. And above all, they remain surrounded by love.
