Is there such thing as a naturally born psychic medium or are they made? 

Well, this is a very burning question. Is there such thing as a naturally born psychic medium or are they made?  As a professional psychic medium, I have been in many spiritual circles meeting some incredible people throughout my career and experience. I can promise everybody that you can learn to become one. Throughout this blog I will explain both concepts of being naturally born and the debated side of it. Also, I will explain how we develop our skills as mediums and how to become one.

Mediumship is a very personal and long journey to success. Absolutely for sure some people are prone to being a naturally born psychic medium with the gift and the ability to connect to the spirit world. However, every single one of us is born with strengths in certain areas. For example, we can be born with musical, or art gifts that others are not so much. 

Again with whatever we are born with as our natural gifts we have to have a teacher to show us how to put it all together. This is the same with this topic, being taught how to present your gift and how to connect with the spirit world. 

How to become a psychic medium

Becoming one is all about patience, hard work and self-discovery. Above all finding yourself a very good teacher and a good group of other students is a must. 

The self-discovery part of becoming a one is possibly the most important. Every medium has their own way of working and finding out your way of working does take time. This also goes for a naturally born psychic medium as it is all part of the self-discovery, connecting to your soul and finding out who you truly are underneath everything. I think also this is missed a lot with the development as it’s a very personal journey.

These are all the main senses used in spirit connection. In other words, they connect using all of the senses and they all have a particular meaning and use. 

We all have psychic intuition, I like to call it the language of the soul. This is given to all of us at birth and never leaves any of us. 

How does a naturally born psychic medium and other mediums use these senses?

As I have mentioned, we all have the senses. However, every single person has a stronger ability on one or more of these senses. For myself, I am very clairsentient as I sent information a lot more than what I usually see or hear. I do use all of the other senses however that is my main one. 

Every spirit that communicates uses different types of communication. What I mean by this is that every single one that is connecting is different and no two readings are ever the same. Experience is what it takes and the more that you practice the better you will get it and above all grow in confidence. 

What makes a good psychic medium?

Empathy, above all you are there to serve both spirit and the client. You are dealing with somebody’s loved one on the other side and you also dealing with somebody’s life. Having a deep understanding of other people’s feelings and other people’s hardships is vital. 

Furthermore knowing how to present a Reading with all the vital details and all the vital information is also important. Overall it is all about factual information that only you and your loved ones who have crossed over would know. Confidence plays a massive role, as you never know who is going to come through in Reading. You always must make sure that you present yourself as confident and professional. 

Ego should have absolutely no role even with a naturally born psychic medium. Keeping a levelheaded approach to this work as again you are there to serve the clients. 

There are many people out there who are grieving terribly. They have lost their closest and nearest and dearest as a medium it is up to you to give as much comfort and hope and proof of survival. There are so many clients that I have had who have lost their loved ones in terrible circumstances such as suicide, accidents, sudden unexpected death and even murder. The biggest rewards in the work

For me, the biggest reward is doing what I love which is working with the other side and my clients. What could be better than doing what you love for a living and giving back to the spirit world what they need? Also, they really appreciate what you do and so do the clients. 

Imagine this scenario, you are a grieving mother who has lost their child and would do anything to know that they’re fine and that their soul has lived on. I have dealt with so many grieving mothers and fathers and to prove to them that their sons or daughters or anybody whether it is a husband or wife, brother and sister or best friends. To give them the proof and evidence that there is life after death I can’t imagine anything better. 

Following on from that seeing how these people are able to move forward with their lives. Being able to of course still grieve but I think in a different kind of way knowing that their loved ones are safe and well. Throughout my career, I have met so many incredible people that I have I have really learnt from. Again, I cannot thank these people enough for also teaching me valuable lessons in life. Sometimes when I’m having a bad day, I revert back to the memories of the clients that I’ve had. Thinking to myself I’ve got to be that strong and I’ve got to be as brave as them. 

So is there such thing as a naturally born psychic medium?

Overall it is a very debated and controversial question. However, I do believe that there are people who are naturally born psychic mediums. As we will come into this world on certain set purposes, some of us come here solely to do this particular work. 

Moreover, this does not mean that if you have an interest in becoming a medium you should not bother. Just because some people are more naturally born with the ability as I have seen some students turning into incredible mediums. 

Give it a go it you are interested as the only way to find our if you are a naturally is to try. To clarify a naturally born psychic medium will most likely go professional as it is their chosen path.

So to summarise everything, in my opinion it is a yes on this topic. For a long time I debated the question, and as a I have developed further in my work and seeing the gifts in other mediums and my clients I can come to my own conclusion. Some people are naturally born with this ability whether they choose to pursue it one not is up to them. However, the gift and ability will never leave them and will always remain.
