The magician in tarot all you need to know

Within this blog, I uncover all the important factors about the magician card. Within tarot, the magician is a major arcana and a very popular card. This has got to be one of my favourite cards in the tarot deck and possibly one of the most well-known. Please read my blog and take my account of the magician card.

What does the magician represent?

One of 22 major arcana that make up 78 cards in a tarot deck. First and foremost I’ve always found the magician to be extremely meaningful in the sense of being in the right place and doing the right thing. A lot of the magician’s meaning comes down to being at the top of your game.

Never underestimate yourself or anybody else if the magician card should show up. This is one of only two cards in the entire tarot deck that has all four elements.

– Earth (pentacles)

– Air (swords)

– Fire (wands)

– Water (cups)

Importantly some things in life are meant to be and some things are not. However, when the magician card shows up things are 99.9% meant to be. Not all things come to us straight away, however, they manifest over time. All of this really shows at the age of the magician in the card picture. Due to the fact he is not a young man and he has been doing his trade for a long time.

Will and determination

Nothing comes easy in life. Also we learn from experience and from our own mistakes. You cannot give up before things have even started, they take time and they take a lot of planning.

Taking a very assertive and direct approach to things is always necessary for being where we want to be. Nobody ever stops learning and we should always have an open and accepting mind.

Moreover, within this particular pack, the Druid craft tarot shows a lot of the Celtic traditions and culture. Strong people who stood up against the Roman invasion and the Druids were massacred. Standing their ground and never giving up against the Romans.

Hard work and determination pay off in the end one way or the other. You may not get to the exact point where you want to be however if you do not, you will regret it.

The magician’s journey

Even by looking at the magician, he does not look like he has had an easy journey. Haggard, tired and above all taken a beating along the way. Although he looks very strong standing proud and assertive, he still has had many obstacles to face.

Furthermore the journey of the magician is never-ending. What’s more just as much we have our own journeys to face getting to the top of where we are and getting to our exact destination is tough.

One of the things I love about this tarot card is that it shows all of these factors. Spiritually, emotionally, and on our own, we can do all this. Calling upon your soul and your spirit guides to give you the guidance that you need in order for you to be that magician.

Evolution of the magician

Evolving with time is always a must. Everything is always evolving and changing as nothing stays the same.

In a lot of other tarot card decks, such as the Rider Waite deck the magician has an infinity symbol over his head. He also wears even in the Druid craft tarot Ouroboros belt. Both of these symbolise eternity. Just as much as eternity of the soul and spirit so there is also eternity with the magician. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rider%E2%80%93Waite_Tarot

The spirit world really reflects with the magician. It has got to be one of the most spiritual and soul-connecting cards in not only the major arcana but also the entire tarot deck.
