Mindfulness, how to achieve it and what it’s all about

This blog is dedicated to explaining the importance of mindfulness. Covering everything that you need to know about it. Throughout our lives, we have our ups and downs with our moods, confidence and feelings of self-worth. My job here is to explain and guide you to the feeling of being a piece and content within your own self. This is also known as mindfulness. Please do read my blog and I hope that it helps you if you’re feeling emotionally or spiritually lost.
What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness has many different meanings. Most of all it includes paying attention to what is around you. Such as thoughts, feelings, body sensations, and your surroundings.
Furthermore, with this in place, it gives you a much more deep understanding of yourself. Overall, it can reduce stress and anxiety and enhance your mental and emotional well-being.
You do not need to be a spiritual person to achieve or want mindfulness. This is a practice that is open to all people from different faiths and backgrounds. Living in a very stressful and unpredictable world I think that mindfulness is something that we must all be open to.
Certainly, self-love and self-respect are all vital in this. So to achieve mindfulness we must learn how to tackle this.
How do we learn to achieve mindfulness?
Self-discipline is vital in achieving mindfulness. Many people do not give themselves any time whatsoever to reflect on their lives or their souls. To achieve mindfulness at its best, you must give yourself plenty of time as it is not a rush.
What’s more, is that I think particularly with today’s culture, it is very materialistic. Particularly with the younger generation needing to look and be a certain way to be accepted. All of this can contribute to many different problems when trying to achieve mindfulness.
You need to let go of what other people think of you. Not listening to what is expected of you by everybody else. Being the person who you really want to be and following your own path. When you are on that destiny, then you can never look back.
Above all, that’s why we come into the lives that we have. They are valuable lessons that are souls need to learn in order to grow spiritually. One of the number one lessons in life is finding out who you are and what you’re here for. This is where mindfulness comes in.

Meditation and mindfulness
One of the best ways to achieve mindfulness is through meditation. Whether visualised or not it really does not matter as long as you manage to get into a state of peace and harmony.
Meditation has always been a very important part of mindfulness. This is down to the fact that it calms and cleanses the mind body and soul. Doing it regularly is a good way of cleansing any negative energy and enhancing positive energy.
In doing so, anything is possible. Connecting to your spirit guides and receiving messages from them to guide you along your life and spiritual path. What’s more is that it helps train your mind to become more aware of the present moment, allowing you to observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment
Following on from that it helps develop a sense of calm and resilience. Making it easier to handle challenges and maintain a mindful perspective during difficult times.

Mindfulness and Mediumship
Learning how to connect with the spirit world and becoming a psychic medium requires a lot of mindfulness. Self-trust is one of the most important things in this practice. This is only achievable through mindfulness.
In order to receive messages from the spirit world, the mind must be clear. Putting aside any stress, anxiety and worries that they have in order to connect to the spirit correctly. Overall it is best when the mind is clear.
The reason for this is the fact that it is conducted through thought, sensations and feelings. If we allow our thoughts and feelings to be overrun by negative or unneeded thoughts it will affect our Mediumship and its quality. These feelings are known as:
- Clairvoyance (clear seeing)
- Clairaudience (clear hearing)
- Clairsentience (clear feeling)
- Claircognizance (clear knowing)
- Clairintellect (clear thinking)
- Clairempathy (clear emotion)
- Clairtangency (clear touching)
- Clairsalience (clear smelling)
- Clairgustance (clear tasting)
Importantly, it’s vital that we have the discipline to put any negative or unnecessary thoughts and feelings to one side. Again meditating is a good way and also learn how to switch from the everyday mind.
Healing
Certain types of healing such as Reiki and spiritual healing are great ways of achieving mindfulness. Allowing the universal energy and the good intention from the healer to shift negative energy and replace it with positive energy.
Overall, there are many different types of healing possibly even hundreds. As a qualified Reiki master, I noticed the transition in myself when I qualified.
Open-mindedness is another important aspect of mindfulness. Being open to the healing and the good intention given to you by the universe and the healer. If you decide not to receive the healing, then it will not work.

Spiritual grounding
Spiritual grounding is important for several reasons:
- Emotional Stability: Grounding helps individuals manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelming emotions. Providing a sense of calm and stability.
- Enhanced Focus: By connecting to the present moment, grounding can improve concentration and clarity of thought. Allowing individuals to be more effective in their daily activities.
- Resilience: Regular grounding practices can build resilience. Enabling individuals to better cope with life’s challenges and uncertainties.
- Connection to Self: It fosters a deeper connection with oneself. Promoting self-awareness and understanding, which can lead to personal growth and healing.
Overall, grounding serves as a foundation for emotional, mental, and well-being.
