Seven of Cups, everything that you need to know about this tarot card

In this blog, I explain everything I know about the tarot card the Seven of Cups. I delve into its meaning from my perspective and share my experiences as a tarot card reader working with it. This Minor Arcana has appeared frequently in my readings recently, so I hope you enjoy reading my blog.
The Seven of Cups deep meaning
Cups in tarot always connect to emotions and deep feelings. Sensitivity and how we feel about ourselves and others are really prevalent not only with the Seven of Cups but throughout the cups suit in tarot.
Furthermore, the Seven of Cups indicates that you mainly dwell on the past instead of looking forward to the future. Additionally, the man in the picture keeps his eyes closed, showing that he finds it very difficult to cope with his current situation. Without a doubt, he feels overly sensitive and needs to talk openly about what he is feeling deep down.
However, this tarot card represents the fact that things aren’t as bad as you seem to think they are. Being oversensitive can cause all kinds of problems, however we are born with being sensitive. At the same time out of all the cups within the pond, he has the biggest cup next to him that he’s not looking at.
Without a doubt, he is not looking at what he already has instead he is duetting on things that he either cannot have or does not have. We are all guilty of that I suppose not seeing what we already have around us.
The Seven of Cups in our everyday life
You win some you lose some. This is a saying that I refer to a lot when things don’t go the way I’d like them to. Not everything is meant to work out in life, however, it is the lessons that we learn from them.
Subsequently, other things and other opportunities come into our lives. From the spiritual aspect things do happen for a reason there is no doubt about that. Each and every one of us are on our own spiritual growth with our soul evolving in every incarnation that we have on earth.
Unquestionably, the Seven of Cups is also a time of self-reflection and mindfulness. Taking time out for yourself to meditate and reflect on what you really want in life. Again as I’ve mentioned things are not as bad as you seem to think they are. When you look at the card, it’s actually quite bright and colourful instead of being dark and dismal.
Overthinking with the Seven of Cups
Another strong indication of the Seven of Cups is that we can overthink our dreams and desires. Unfortunately, a lot of the time what we set out for in life does not work out the way we would like it to. At the same time, however, other things do come into our path and our lives.
It does not mean that we should not aspire to do what we really want to because sometimes it does work out. The most important thing to remember on that is that you should never give up no matter what happens.
This particular tarot card shows a lot of self-reflection and a lot of soul connection. Listening to what your gut feeling/ intuition is telling you is always vital. Sometimes we can be really set apart from our intuition and what our soul and spirit guides are telling us.
Taking the plunge is really important and throwing yourself in the deep end is sometimes the only way. I did it myself when I decided to go professional as a psychic medium and I’ve never looked back.
Summary
So to summarise the Seven of Cups it is a tarot card that you should always enjoy working with. Most importantly, it does not need to be feared or overthought. Because underneath it it really is something that we all deal with in life. Sometimes we can get lost in our lives however by listening to your intuition by listening to how you feel about a situation in all honesty you can never really go wrong.
